I honestly have been afraid yet eager for an opportunity to come to me these past three years, an opportunity to capture an event.  Because every time someone asked if I could photograph their Wedding I would say "No, I don't do Weddings" or "I only do outdoor Weddings".

I was afraid of not getting the right photo, not capturing the right moment, the right smile, the lighting!  But I decided I needed to "do" something about it, to be courageous and try it.  To not worry so much about the lighting, (even though it is a very important part of my photography) but to enjoy every moment I have with the people at the event.

In my opinion, if I was photographing my wedding, baptism, anniversary etc. I would like to see what is happening everywhere.  Starting from the food, to the dessert, to the drinks, to the special details I took time to think about like the table decorations, balloons, and most of all I would like to see my guests having fun and enjoying every moment.  Obviously I would also need to have some posed photos to keep in my photo album, but to also have candid photos that make me smile every time I see them.

This being my first actual event, I believe my photos came out great.
